Tanzania, Africa
Visiting Africa can be a world-view altering experience for a westerner. I wanted to get close to the place on earth where hominids first emerged. The Rift Valley in northern Tanzania may be the place. The birds are so beautiful and the large animals are so powerful and yet so vulnerable. Many people are trying to preserve the environment. Hopefully, looking carefully at relevant photographs can help us appreciate the need.
